Thanks for using Dropbox! The desktop client is regularly updated with many improvements and fixes.
Fixed in this update:
- Fixes an issue that causes the tray menu in Linux to be stuck in 'Connecting...' state.
- Fixes a bug with the installer where incorrect error codes could be displayed when the installer fails.
- Fixes issue with select users not being able to run Dropbox in compatibility mode on Windows 10 & 11.
- Fixes an issue where the Copy Link button in the tray does not work for shared folders.
- Fixes a bug where the Dropbox client might not restart after auto-updating.
- Fixes the height of a container for the performance upgrade that was causing an extra scrollbar to appear on windows machines.
