Out of curiosity, have you tried deleting your account through a different browser too? I'd like for us to see if the behavior remains the same there.
You could also try an incognito tab, without any extensions running there.
Keep me posted once you have more updates!

Would you mind trying through an incognito tab too? Also, do you use a free, Basic account?
