is it possible to create a password so I can lock my DropBox App on my iPhone? my android let me lock DropBox using Eset Security but it does not work on Iphone.
i would appreciate any advice.

Yes there is
Click on the 'Personal' icon on the bottom, then tap cog at the top and you can set a PIN

I am so sorry, but i have no Personal icon at the bottom of the page! i clicked on the icon at the top right but no option to set a password. I use the shortcut icon on my desktop, so I logged into Dropbox on the Web, but still no use. it's ok. I will find it eventually. thanks for the previous response.

Are you doing this on a mobile device or a computer? The option to set a passcode on the Dropbox app only exists in the mobile apps. You can't set a passcode on the app installed on your computer.
Hi, its on my desktop computer! ive done one for the iPad and iPhone now with other directions. its just the short cut on my desk top I am now having difficulty with.

You can only use a passcode on your mobile device or tablet, not your desktop app.
