Why haven't I got more comments?
Here are some tips to help get more comments:
- Ensure you have all of the necessary information available. For example: is this happening on only one device? Did this happen after a recent update?
- Avoid posting a single line describing your situation, the more information, the better!
- Is this posted in the right section? Are you waiting on a response because you didn't post it in: Ask the Community?
While the community is a place for users to get help from other users, and Dropboxers, there are some situations where your fellow users may not be able to help. This might result in them not commenting as you may need help from a Dropbox representative (for example: with logging in issues).
What shouldn't I post?
We recommend not posting any personal information such as email addresses, phone numbers or any private information. This is for your protection, and if we need that information, Dropbox will ask to contact you via the email you signed up with.
Additionally, try to keep your post relevant to your issue, but do post any information you believe might help solve it. Avoid posting any more information than you need to, for example if your Dropbox mobile app is having issues, then share information about your mobile device, but don't share what you use Dropbox for (as that would be irrelevant to this issue).
Why haven't Dropbox commented yet?
On average, Dropbox agents and Community managers typically reply within 12 hours of the first post/last comment posted, often replying much sooner than that. We recommend waiting a few hours for a response to your thread as we can't respond to every post immediately.
