Delete Dropbox folder from Mac Finder

I deleted Dropbox from my Mac but i still see the Dropbox folder in finder. If I delete it in finder will all my Dropbox files delete? What do I do next?

I ended up chatting Dropbox and they advised that I delete my Mac from my list of connected accounts and then delete the folder and it worked. Thanks for your reply

If you delete the Dropbox folder, any files within the folder will be deleted. If you've already uninstalled Dropbox, deleting the folder will not delete the files you have stored in your account. That link was broken when you uninstalled. You would only be deleting the copy on your local drive.
