New Feature Discussion: Scoped apps and enhanced permissions

Dropbox has officially launched support for scoped apps and several other enhancements to permissions on the Dropbox API. You can read about it on our developer blog, “Now Available: Scoped apps and enhanced permissions”.

 

We’ve updated authorization related documentation in the following places:

• The Authorization section of the Dropbox HTTP reference docs
• An updated OAuth Guide with information on scopes, PKCE, and refresh tokens
• Sample OAuth implementation using Node.js in a blog post, "New Sample: Image Flipping Extension”
