I've read some complaints that SwiftyDropbox is not yet compatible with Swift 4.2. I would like to confirm whether this is correct or if it is safe to go ahead.

SwiftyDropbox has not been updated for Swift 4. This task is open with the team, but I don't have a timeline for when that would be completed.
SwiftyDropbox has been updated for Swift 4 as of v5.0.0.
