Can other users upload files to my shared folder with them programmatically ?

The scenario in the app I want to build is :

 

1) I create a shared folder say 'Folder_x'

2) Now share this folder with a group of Dropbox users.

3) Now other users should be able to upload files into this 'Folder_x' from their mobile apps. 

 

Is that currently possible via Dropbox api's ?

Yes, you can share folders via API v2 using /sharing/share_folder and /sharing/add_folder_member. Once the user adds the folder to their account (e.g., by accepting  the invitation via the Dropbox site or via your app using /sharing/mount_folder) they can interact with it like any other folder, such as uploading to it from the Dropbox app, or your API app.
