I keep receiving emails that I'm out of Dropbox space but I'm not

Question

For months I have been receiving an email saying that I am over my storage capacity. And, for months, I check and I see NOTHING that puts me over my storage limit. In faci. I am only using 53.74MB out of my 2GB!

Today, again, I receive an email saying that I am above capacity and that my files will be deleted. I have NO backups that I can find. I have nothing other than one movie file and a link to ICloud storage.

I am BEYOND frustrated and there is no way to speak to LIVE help in anywhere that I have searched. Please do not tell me, again, to check out my backups as they may be causing the problem. I don't see any backups anywhere.

I NEED and want to get this issue resolved. Can someone please assist me. Again, please do not tell me to check the backups. I don't see any… but maybe I am not looking in the right place.

I completely understand your frustration and confusion, so let's see what we can find in order to get to the bottom of this.

Can you send me another screenshot of what you see on this page of your account settings online regarding your usage?

If you have any backup files, they should appear on this page.

Lastly, are the "no space" emails you're receiving, going to the email address associated with your account here? Or perhaps a different email address?

Let me know what you find and we'll go from there!
