Tell which folders were deleted, not just a list of filenames

Question

It would help me to know which folder these files were in instead of giving me obscure filenames that may be part of of some library or package.

Just list the directories/folders first, then the files. I looked on the web interface, I didn't see an easy or obvious way to find the folders that were deleted. Perhaps I missed it?

You recently deleted 3764 files from your Dropbox account. If you want these files back, you can still restore them until 10/25/2026. After that, they’ll be permanently deleted.

I think this was an expected deletion as I was cleaning up file space, but when you get a notification that more than 3 thousand files have been deleted it would be nice to be able to quickly check that I didn't accidentally nuke some other folder, which now is impossible (or perhaps possible, but not easy) since there is no list of folders.

Anyway, I've explained this as best as I can three times now. I hope this suggestion makes it into the product at some point.

We appreciate your feedback regarding the notifications about the deleted files.

We take all comments into consideration when improving the Dropbox interface and notifications.

Were you able to restore the deleted files from your account, or was this an expected deletion that you performed?
