I can't download the contents of a 51GB folder; I see a "Not enough space to access…" error.

Question

I'm trying to download a folder containing three short films I made over 10 years ago (there may also be some publicity material, I can't remember). The folder was created in 2013. I missed the emails from dropbox about deleting my folders but when I did see them, I went back into my dropbox and I managed to restore and download everything- except this one 51GB folder. Next to it is a message, "Not enough space to access…"

I seem to clicking in circles trying to find customer service help. I even downloaded the desktop app but that didn't even show the folder. Can anyone please give me advice on how to download the contents of this folder, or point me to where I can create a ticket or better still, get chat support from someone at dropbox? These films mean a lot to me, I just want to download them and anything else in that folder before it's gone forever. Thank you in advance!

Do you, by any chance, mean that your files were deleted because your Dropbox Basic account went over-quota? If yes, when were those files deleted?

Now, based on the error message you mention, I understand that you couldn't restore this specific folder on your Dropbox account. Correct?

Or did you mean that you were able to recover it, but Dropbox won't allow you to download it?
