My referral bonus wasn't given, it says it's ineligible

Question

I referred so many of my friends to Dropbox using the referral link.

They created account for the 1st time using the link.

Their email showed up in the referral list.

For some it says, waiting for install, for others it says ineligible.

Lost approx. 5GB of space because of this, showing same for 10 different friends.

It has happened with multiple invites. All are separate friends and have not much in common. All have installed it on their own laptop.

What can be the issue. Thanks.

Second option of already installed Dropbox is not true, since none of them have even heard of Dropbox. This has happened with 7 of my referrals.

A few of them may be on same network, but definitely not all. There is a central broadband company that provides internet in this region. Most of the users would be using their internet. Isnt is ok to use identical internet provided by a big company in this region.

Are they on the same network? Or, using a device that has already had Dropbox installed?
