Why is Dropbox sending me multiple emails about deleting content on my account? They contain deadlines for deletion of my content, without specifying which content, how much storage I am allotted on my account or how much I am over my allotment. This week after several weeks of the warning emails, the email I got said stuff WAS deleted because I didn't take action. I didn't have time for this at the time, so I didn't do anything, just accepted that Dropbox had deleted random stuff in my account. Then I got ANOTHER email today that things were deleted. If things were deleted why am I getting another email? You've already constantly annoyed me about this, inconvenienced me and now you're spamming me with reminders that you already did the annoying thing? Also, now that I got annoyed enough to actually sign in and look around the account (thanks for wasting my time) I see no indication that I was anywhere near the limit on my account (2GB) when I sign in (see screen shot) and there are only a few things in the trash but they don't show their size so I have no idea what is going on with this but it is opaque and annoying and scammy AF. If these are informational emails, inform and then move on. If they are marketing emails designed to increase engagement or something, probably not ethical or legal. Can someone explain what is going on here? I've been using Dropbox since the mid 00's – this isn't normal.
