how do i FIND a MOVED directory??. tried searching in Dropbox, but it's sh1tter than ****** looking.. the activity log is useless as i access hundreds of files each day, so it's like looking in a haystack

To recover a deleted folder in Dropbox, log in to dropbox.com, click Deleted files in the left sidebar, locate the folder, and select Restore. You can also see more about that here.
Regarding the moved folders or files, have you tried searching for the folder name in the desktop app or on our website? Also, do you remember any file names within it to help track down the path?

if only the telly looked like that. it USED to be really easy top recover dleted files/folders in dropbox, but nto anymore. why do your it wallahs change ****** that doesnt need changing?? its nto how you say it is.

Hey @abelljms - were you able to resolve your concern in the end? If so, what worked for you after all?
For info in case this happens to anybody else this usually happens when you have used the select all option to restore files BUT this then also highlights and selects folders which havent been deleted. As these cannot be restored the menu option disappears. Make sure you search through your list and unselect any which havent been deleted and you can restore then :)

I looked into it and I can see that we never got your reply in Megan's ticket and I see that you've had other tickets recently that were never replied to as well.
Just to make sure we're on the same page, what you need is to locate and restore a folder, correct?
Have you found the exact deletion event from your events page?
