How to access an expired shared link?

please advise, in year 2022 we received a set of document link which had already  expired. we downloaded 5 documents at that time.. now don't remember was the link had more documents in it or not….. now the sender is advising us that they had send a set of documents that are more than 5 but they also somehow lost the track.. are there any means to pull the detail at drop box side or at least if it can be advised that they are more than 5 documents ?

please advise are there any means first to pull the set of documents were included in the link or any means to confirm if there are 5 documents or more than that ?

Keep in mind that shared links don’t expire on their own; they stay active until the sender deletes or deactivates them. However, if they are on a paid plan (mainly on Professional and team plans), they have the option to set an expiration date, after which the link will stop working.

Additionally, when you move, rename, or delete a file or folder, any links pointing to them become invalid.

If a link was already expired when you first received it, you shouldn't have access to the files. Once a shared link has expired, it can’t be opened until it is reactivated or replaced.

Please ask the person who shared the link to re-enable or resend it if they have that option. Regarding the numbers you mentioned, they are part of the URL or perhaps the folder's name, but they do not indicate how many files were inside when the folder was shared with you. Unfortunately, we cannot determine a link's contents on our end either.
