My Dropbox link has been suspended for generating excessive traffic.
I now get this warning -
There was a problem. Please contact support for further assistance with removing your temporary ban.
I need assistance to correct this.
Thanks

Have you removed a ban previously? You can also do so once.
The ban should auto lift, usually, within 24 hours although each ban does get longer.
Hi there, @RareBreed, let's jump right into this!
It sounds like access to your sharing was paused on your account.
Have you checked this article to see what you can do next? You can also take at our "Create, Upload, and Share FAQs" here for more info.
Lastly, how long has it been since you received the email and also got the error message as well?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.
To answer you both Mark & Megan yes we had a ban this afternoon and we removed it, then again this evening and now we have the warning saying we can't lift it.
Thank you for the info however we are unsure of how we've breached any rules as we've not shared any of our folders or files.
We will wait 24 hours and hopefully the link we be reinstated.
Hey @RareBreed, that'd be ideal!
Please keep an eye out, and if you don't notice an improvement let me know here. This way I can reach out via email, in order for us to investigate further.
Thanks a bunch!
Thanks Megan. Will confirm in 24 hours :¬)

If you have already shared files then people reusing then would count towards your bandwidth limits. Its also worth noting that the 24 bandwidth limit is a rolling one so it never resets at midnight.
Thanks for that info Mark.
If it doesn't reset (it hasn't of yet) do you know how best to solve this long term?
We are a band and use the Dropbox for venues/agents/labels to quickly view our bio/vids and songs.
To remove it you need to contact support or look at upgrading your plan (if you are free you get 20gb / day).
However, if you are sharing LOTS of data then Dropbox probably isnt the best fit (paid get 200gb / day).
