I've invited a new member to Dropbox and created an account, but did not receive the Dropbox referral 500MB?
What does http://www.dropbox.com/referral_status show?
Note that they need to have download and installed it to a desktop device. Mobiles do not count.

Yes, it was in the same household - in the same network I believe
