How do I access files my collaborator is uploading? Sounds like this should be simpler.....
You either go to the link they've sent you in email or view at http://www.dropbox.com/home - if its a Shared folder you may need to accept it via http://www.dropbox.com/share first AS LONG AS you have enough quota to do so.

To add to what @Mark said, it would help us greatly if you could tell us exactly how your collaborator sent you to these files they're uploading.
Was it via a link to a folder visible on the Dropbox site? Did they add you to a shared folder? Did they send you a Dropbox Transfer link?
Any other info or screenshots would be helpful!
