on 7/21/25 i forgot to save a file. Now I can't recover it, any suggestions?

Can you let me know a bit more about your process?
How are you editing the file? What kind of file is it? Are you editing it through Dropbox directly, or through a third party app?
Generally, if the file is not saved to your Dropbox account, you won't be able to retrieve it through Dropbox.
But if you're using a third party app, perhaps you can find it in the app's version history, if they offer one.
