Can I prevent users from deleting folders?

Hi @Walter,

Is there any progress on this over the last two years? I would also find it very useful if I could lock entire folders rather than just individual files.

Hey @maltexease! Thanks for posting on our forum.

At the moment, it’s not possible to prevent a folder/file from getting deleted, if the members have edit permissions to it.

What you can do, if you’re the admin of a Dropbox team, is to prevent team members from permanently deleting files instead.
