I can't join another user's shared folder, as I'm not getting the email invitation.

Hi. I installed dropbox on my desktop and created a dropbox account. I verified the email address. Someone is trying to share a folder with me but I am not receiving the email notification. The shared folder is also not appearing in my dropbox folder. I checked and there are no syncing issues. They tried removing me from the sharing list and adding again but still not appearing in my dropbox and no email notification. I have tried multiple devices as well. How do I solve this?

Hey @Michellemercado! Thanks for posting here.

Have you checked your email address’s spam folder and the shared folder invitation can’t be found there either?

Other than that, you can visit the Shared tab of your web Dropbox account here and add this folder to your account this way.

Hi! None in spam. Is it possible for them to send me a link of the shared folder via text then I can manually add it to the shared tab?

Thanks for clarifying that! Just to clarify, have you already checked your Shared tab and the folder can't be found there either?

If that's the case, is there any chance they've shared the folder with a different email address?

Other than that, they can try to send you a shared link to the folder with edit permissions.
