I have a problem. In 2020 I deleted files that at the time were not important. Now, in 2025 I urgently need those files. Is there any way to recover them? Can I pay to have them recovered?

Unfortunately, for files deleted that long ago, it wouldn't be possible to recover them today, even from our end.
Upgrading your plan to a paid subscription wouldn't work, as it isn't retroactive, and couldn't help recover files from 5 years ago either.
The only possibility would be is if you have an old machine that was previously connected to your Dropbox account, and has yet synced to your account since before the deletion, to see if the files are still on that device.
