I didn´t receive my 48GB, I have over 34 people who I have invited to dropbox and they have install dropbox. I have earned 86.7GB of space if you remove this 48 gb I start of with less than I had for my account which was created sep 2011
new account size 23gb
so looking into my account and looked at space earned in account and it list all 34 users installed and using dropbox where is my space earned gone ??
also only had this Samsung Galaxy s5 bought 2nd hand 12 months ago

Which is it? Did you receive 48GB through a Samsung promotion that is now expired and being removed, or did you not receive the space at all?

The most space that you can earn through referrals as a Basic user is 16GB (32 referrals X 500MB each). You can continue to refer more people, but you don't get any bonus space after 32. Nearly all other bonus space you can earn is time limited (some exceptions include the 3GB from Camera Uploads and the Getting Started space).
Look at the possible reasons for not receiving a bonus, as listed on the following page. You might want to take note of the one that states the device must be brand new.

Then my best guess is that you didn't receive it because your device was purchased second hand. Review the link that I posted with other possible explanations and failing that, contact Support.
I have got a new Samsung Note. I went into Dropbox for the first time and it said I was eligible for 50gb of space. I had trouble logging into the account and closed the sign in page down.
I later had a successful sign in but it has not given me the extra 50gb of space.
When my 2 year of Samsung 48 GB bonus expires, can I buy a new Samsung device and start up a new 2 years of 48 GB?
I just signed up for drop box via my Samsung pad and I am trying to obtain my extra 48 memory plus the extra gift. one of the required items is to add dropbox to my computer. I already have dropbox on my computer. it went through the process, acknowledged that dropbox was updated, but did not Check it off the list of requirements to gain my 48. How do I get this acknowledged? I can get every box checked except this and I would like to get it done, since it is.

Looking at the "space earned" at my user profile, I only see the start date ("updated'), nothing about the length of it (I'm not sure if I have a 2-year or 1-year option).

Dieser Bonusplatz ist noch nicht bei mir angekommen.

I just bought my Galaxy S6 on boxing day. I have registered for my first time ever. I live in Canada and it had the Dropbox pre loaded on my phone. I have yet to get my 48GB.. Is there something I have done wrong? I have completed all 7 steps as well.
Morning. What happens when my free space expires and I have over the limit photo's/video's. what happens to those video's? Do you give me time to move them?
it says ill wont be able to upload , but it dosent say , ill be able to download my more than my new space staff? i mean , i have 25 gb staff , if it goes back to 2 , i will still be able to intercart with those files?
@Tanya: Nothing will happen to your files. If you go over quota you won't be able to sync anymore until you're back below quota. Your files will remain in your account.
@Pardalas: Yes, you'll still be able to download your files. You won't be able to add or update them.
In the help section you state:

I can find this but there is no expiration date.

i've also earned the 48GB space thanks to my samsung device. A while ago, somewhee I've read this free space will expire after some time.
On the site of dropbox it's clearly mentioned you can verify your promotional space by going to your account page and clicking view space earned.
Now the problem is I cannot find the remaining time anywhere on my account...

Hi Folks, feel months ago i join my user account in another business account and choose wrong option.. At these time I chose "merge" files option instead to choose "add new account"....
Front on it, i asked to administrator to delete my user from business account. After that I needed to recreate my account and lost all additional space that I accumulated with indications and to access from Samsung device.
I had about 60GB of space. But now... I have only 2GB as new normal user...
Anyone knows what I need to do? Can anybody help me to recover my space?
