How do I delete a shared folder for all members?

Question

I am the owner of a shared folder with six members.  I want to permanently delete this folder and its files for all members.  Not just on my Dropbox but theirs as well.  These are sensitive files which no longer need to be shared and I want to ensure they can no longer be accessed by any member.

How do I do this (Dropbox Basic/Plus package)?

I know there are a lot of articles already posted about this topic but none of them seem to definitively state how I can reliably do what I need to do.

In order to achieve what you asked, you'd need to unshare the folder following the steps mentioned here.

As the Help Center article states: When you unshare a folder, the files are permanently deleted from each member's account and removed from any linked devices the next time the Dropbox desktop app syncs. If you're the owner of a shared folder, you can unshare the folder at any time.
