Folder won’t delete as I get an error that files are in use even after uninstalling the desktop app

Question

I deleted Dropbox from my computer because my computer had very little space and the Dropbox file had over 300 GB in it. After I uninstalled it, the folder was still there. I have tried to delete the folder, but it says it’s too large to recycle. When I try to just permanently delete it, it says the files are in use. I also can’t select files to delete them individually. Does anyone have an idea for how to delete the Dropbox folder from my computer after the app has been uninstalled?

If you still get the same error after rebooting your computer, could you send us a screenshot of the exact error you're getting so that we can have a look too?

Also, what is your computer's exact OS version?
