my question is:
Is there any plan that is even cheaper than the normal basic plan of 2000 tb? It happens that I want to have more storage space, but the cheapest plan is still quite expensive.
Is there an alternative storage plan, which is cheaper?
Hello, there is not any smaller plan than 1TB (1000 GB). You can only buy 1TB plan or others - like 2 TB, 3 TB or infinitive. Please remember that you can alwayes extend your free space by referral links or others special tasks.
Hi @wdshieh, if your account is eligible, you could upgrade to the Dropbox Basic Extra plan, which offers all the existing features on Basic, but with 50 GB of quota.
For personal plans, unless you see other options at www.dropbox.com/account/plan that is the max, yes.
If you want more you need to use business plans BUT that means multiple fees per month
I believe Dropbox would greatly benefit from offering more subscription plans. Having to choose between the free account or 2TB is a total nonsense.
Right now if I had to choose I would choose Google with their 100 or 200GB plan. I believe Dropbox looses a lot of money because of that.I wonder if there is any good reason for not doing it, especially that I see many posts asking for that since 2014 😄 ?

I consider that their plans are too expensive for countries that are not in a good socioeconomic moment. They should be more empathetic since they have clients from all over the world and in countries like Argentina, their platform is turning its back on them. Not only because it is charged in a currency that is very little accessible here, but because the values are high. I would think about a discount for these situations, or if you don't want to change the currency, put a more friendly price. I had to unsubscribe from their Professional plan because it was too expensive. Also, while I'm at it, it seems to me that your user experience is not very intuitive. The website is elaborate and does not have easy access.
Hi there, I'm Amanda, Product Lead for International Growth.
Our team is re-opening investigation into this area. Thanks for flagging this need!
I completely agree! A plan with 50 GB or so would be great. The 2 TB plan will never be an option for me—that's just so much more than I need. But I've been a Dropbox User for more than ten years, and very happy with the Android app, the Windows client and the web interface, so if there was an intermediate plan, I would take it in a heartbeat. I'd even buy this for several years at a time and pay ahead.
Costo troppo alto per i piani tariffari potrebbe inserirsi un opzione da 1TB al costo di € 50,00 annui

Cost too high for tariff plans, a 1TB option could be included at a cost of €50.00 per year
Greetings Sergio
My Dropbox space currently is 2GB. I'd like to increase it to 20GB. Why must the next option be 2000GB? I don't need so much.
I agree with this brilliant pensioner. Why can't the default be 10 or 20GB for oldies?
Hello!
I would like to buy 110 accounts.
But I just need 1-115 Gb for one account.
2`000Gb plan is expensive for me.
Can Dropbox make plans with price for 1 Mb?
I used an offer from Acer for 100 G plan and see now that it expires and I need to chose a paid plan. The plans offered by Dropbox are not suited to individual users with no need for excessive storage capacity. To choose between 2 G for the basic and 2000G for the next available plan is too much. I suggest looking at offering a plan to continue the 100 G Acer promotion as a paid plan more suited to individual users like myself.
Thanks so much
Agnes Zelgert
I believe many people don't necessarily need an additional 1TB of space.
They might only require 10GB or 20GB. Currently, there is no plan to rent or purchase smaller storage spaces.
I think this should be introduced as soon as possible.
i vostri concorrenti stanno rilasciando piani da 100 GB al costo di $ 10/anno (0,83/mese)
se aveste un piano simile disponibile preferirei continuare con voi
your competitors released 100GB plans, at the cost of 10$/Year (0,83 per Month):
if you had similar plans i would prefer to continue with you.
thank you
You should have a plan for 4 or 8GB at $5 a month and then I'd do it. As it is now, I'll move some files onto my computer.
I don't need anywhere near 2 TB and don't want to pay $10/month. I am a home user but do a small amount of side work that I need to have segregated from my OneDrive. Why not offer 1 TB storage space option?
I don’t need 2T capacity, 100GB is enough for me2T is expensive. Do you have any solution?
Who would like to 'downgrade' to a 1TB option for $4.99 a month?
Lots of alternatives available since Dropbox seems to not care about offering a cheaper storage plan. Check out Microsoft OneDrive, Google Drive, Sync, Mega, and iDrive.
Hi,
I would like to share my opinion that if you start a plan for students or less than 2 TB plan, that would help student users or those who want to get a small package. That might be more effective for enhancing users. As a Dropbox user, I couldn't buy a plan. I kept my basic plan because. The further plan is 2 TB, it would be expensive for me.
Could you please offer 1TB single person @ £4 per month.
Drop Box minimum data purchase is for 2,000 GB. When I have used only 9 GB for the last 3 years, i don't see using 2,000 GB for another 200 years. This mimnimum stipulation of 2,000 GB is unduly forcing the user to pay 2,000 GB without using even 1 to 2% of 2,000 GB. Dropo Box should immediatley offer lower GB Plans (atleast 100 GB) with the price accordingly.
It could offer more plan options with affordable discounts. I believe the current plans are expensive. Promotional offers could also be increased, such as the one priced at R$10.00 per month (Brazil). I would be interested and sign it myself.
