Hey there (@Georgiegirl78), you can find all the relevant steps to restore your docs on this resource, though let me quickly repeat for you below:

Spoiler

#1. Sign in to Paper.
#2. Click Docs.
#3. Click Archived or Deleted.
#4. Click the doc you'd like to restore.
#5. Click the Restore button that appears

Did you receive an error from the website? Did you not manage to locate the deleted docs?

i just deleted a dropbox paper. now its gone... is there a deleted folder?

There is a doc tab and a folder tab in your Home page. Follow the steps provided below to restore Paper folders

Click "Folders" in your Dropbox Paper homepage. Restore Paper (edited-Pixlr).png

Then select "Archived". Please note there is no "Deleted" option in the Paper folders options, while docs have this option.

I get lost at step 3, no where on my screen says "Archived" or "Deleted".

If you're not seeing this, can you post a screenshot of what you see and/or try another browser to see if it's a browser specific issue?
