Unable to delete Backup from another PC despite unlinking the old device

My Dropbox Basic account is over its storage limit because an approximately 4 GB backup from another PC is still taking up space.

I have already unlinked that PC from my Dropbox account, but the backup remains and continues to count toward my storage quota. I am not able to delete it.

How can I permanently delete this backup and free up the space?

Could you check your Backup page online and let me know if you see the backup listed there? If you do, you can click the ellipsis next to it and delete the backup to free up space on your account.
