Kept getting emails that I'm out of space but I have no files in my account

I inserted some files years ago under basic plan… And I knew were up to the 2GB limit, so kept getting messages that I'm up against the limit… so please upgrade now.

So decided recently… okay will do that. Upgrade the plan, but checked… "No files" nothing… nadda…

How is possible? Where are my files? And if not restored… NO WAY am I'm going to upgrade to a paying plan, as trust is broken.

Hey @walkabout, thanks for taking the time to post to our Community.

I completely understand where you're coming from, so let's see what we can find.

You mentioned that you added the files to your account years ago; when was the last time you had logged in to your account before you noticed that your files are missing?

What do you see in your events page regarding your files?

Also, when was the last time you received an email that your account was out of space?

And did you receive those emails to the same email address shown in your account settings here?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

Oh okay… Yes… I did not log in past 1 year… but did not think I needed to, because I was always (and still) receiving messages that I was close to the 2GB limit. So… all is gone. And so am I. I will never use this service. Many appreciations Mark and Hannah for your support.

I will block all these annoying dropbox emails, as do not know how to truly stop the barrage.
