I just want to be able to view a shared link without downloading the Dropbox mobile app

it’s in the title. When something gets sent over to me - i don’t want to download the stupid app i just want to check something quickly while im on my phone. It seems like tricks online like changing the url or trying to see the desktop version dont work anymore on safari or chrome. I still haven’t figured it out - this is some godawful ux design and if there’s no way to fix this i will not be using this platform in the future.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, can you clarify how files are shared with you exactly and how you're currently opening them on your mobile device?

For example, are people sending you shared links to their files and you're opening them through a web browser?

If that's so, what is preventing you from opening the file(s) or links?
