Monthly payments have been stopped temporarily on a Plus plan. Will data be lost?

My friend is on a 2TB plan and his DropBox payments stopped about a 6 weeks ago due to a problem and will not be able to be resumed for another month. He has many photos and other important documents on DropBox and is really concerned that he will lose data. Will he lose any data for this temporary stopping of payments? Will he be able to access all the data he has on DropBox after the payments start again. He is not able to access his phone or a computer for another month probably.

If the person has downgraded from a Plus plan to a Basic account, and they are over quota, then there is a possibility of data being deleted from their account, along with other restrictions on the account, as per the information in this article.

However, there would be numerous emails sent from Dropbox to that user's email address prior to any data deletion, so they would be able to either upgrade their account to get back under quota again, or to download and delete data themselves to prevent the automatic deletion.
