I am facing a critical issue with my storage space and need advice or intervention from the support team/moderators.
Previously, I bought a Dropbox subscription through a local intermediary reseller. Unfortunately, they have recently gone out of business, and I can no longer contact them to renew my plan.
As a result, my account has just been downgraded to the free tier, and my current data drastically exceeds the 2GB limit.
Since this situation happened entirely due to unexpected third-party circumstances, I want to ask:
- Will Dropbox automatically delete my over-limit files right away? If yes, how long do I have before any data loss occurs?
- How can I safely transition my billing directly to Dropbox without risking my existing data during the process? (I am more than willing to pay directly to Dropbox to restore my quota).
Any guidance from the community or staff on how to preserve my files right now would be greatly appreciated.
