Is timestamp commenting supported on Dropbox Plus?

Hello,

I have a Dropbox Plus subscription and I'm using Dropbox to review videos and leave feedback for editors.

However, the timestamp comment feature does not seem to be available on my account. The clock/timestamp icon next to the comment box is disabled (greyed out), so I'm unable to add comments at specific moments in the video timeline.

I can watch and review the video normally, but I cannot create timestamp-based comments.

Could you please confirm:

Is timestamp commenting supported on Dropbox Plus?
Are there any file type, sharing, or permission requirements for this feature?
Why is the timestamp icon disabled in my case?
Is this feature only available on Dropbox Professional, Standard, Advanced, or another plan?

It isnt available on Plus, no. You need Professional or higher.

Yes you can - as I said on your initial post you just upgrade and you'd get credit back for the plan you already have.

Sorry, not sure what you mean?

If you have Pro you would need to upgrade to Professionals or higher, but, you can do that at www.dropbox.com/plans which would pro-rata any credit rebates owed back to you.

I currently have a Dropbox Plus subscription and I'm considering upgrading to Dropbox Professional.

I'd like to know whether I need to purchase the Professional plan separately, or if there's an option to upgrade my existing Plus plan by simply paying the difference/additional amount.

Has anyone gone through this upgrade process before? I'd appreciate any guidance or insights.

You go to www.dropbox.com/plans and then it will work out how/what you need to pay. It does it automatically for you
