Can I see how many people have downloaded my Dropbox files via link?

I put some big genealogy files on a paid Dropbox account and I posted links to the folders, on my website. I did it this way so people downloading the big files would not bog down the website server. Now, is there a way to see how many users have downloaded the genealogy files from my Dropbox account?

Hi from me too, @SortedByName! It’s not possible to view the number of downloads from shared links, I’m afraid.

However, you should be able to do this with a Dropbox transfer instead.

Also, you need to be aware of your Dropbox bandwidth, as sharing can be interrupted when your daily bandwidth is exceeded.

No, Dropbox doesnt have download statistics I'm afraid.

Also, just to be aware that Dropbox isnt a delivery system and so if you use too much bandwidth it will just stop the downloads.
