Hi all,
Running Samsung Galaxy A54 5G with Android 13. Been using Dropbox Free for years on my PC (first Windows, now Linux Mint). I want to transfer photos from the phone to Dropbox, which I have upgraded to Plus with 2TB.
In particular, my /DCIM/Camera folder contains a jpg folder and an heic folder. I have a number of photos sorted into these folders with matching file extensions. I can share a file from many apps with Dropbox and more. But no file managers offer the Share option that I have found.
I could select and copy all 40 pictures in File Manager +, but no way to share that list of photos with Dropbox.
In the Dropbox app, I can upload from my phone's internal memory, but not from the SD card. I saw an app in the Play Store that is highly rated (4.7 stars) by another developer that is supposed to overcome this Android OS-Dropbox shortcoming. I see the official Dropbox app was released back in 2010, 14 beers ago. 🙂 I am using the current version.
I would try to drag-and-drop on the website, but I have not figured how to get dual windows on my phone.
Any suggestions for handling files, be they pictures, videos, or document files like I can on the PC?
Any suggestions for moving files around
