I've referred my mum to dropbox and helped her sign in on a family laptop to share bills and files.
The referral status is ineligible, could you please check this?

That would make it ineligible as each referral must install Dropbox on a unique computer (one never having Dropbox before).

Also, did she create a brand new Dropbox account?
