t didnt work for some reason". The business user has contacted dropbox support and was supposed to be fixed but is not. How is it possible to get this fixed?
Thanks for checking on different browsers, and platforms @jaykid007, awesome job there!
Is it possible that they are sending you a shared folder or an editing link, instead of a link with "view only" permissions?
I'm asking, because we had a similar case in this thread, and that seemed to be the cause.
Hey there @jaykid007, I'd be happy to help you figure out what's happening!
Could you please clear your browser's cache or try another browser, preferably with no extensions or plugins running and let us know if you still get the same error when accessing the shared links in question?
Is it possible that the sharing ability of the user sending you the link was banned?
I'll be waiting for your updates!
Provided that their sharing activity has been banned, they'd need to contact Support, and work with our Team in order to resolve it @jaykid007.
Once you confirm with them that this isn't the root cause, and that they can access their own link when not signed into their account, you can contact us and let us know.
We'll be more than happy to continue troubleshooting this with you. Thank you!
