Deleted account can I delete the dropbox folder off my PC without deleting what other ppl shared

Hello,

 

I had to use Dropbox for an old job. We had a dropbox account that is massive. They shared the folders with me and I just found a dropbox folder on my PC under the USER location that is like 800 gb large that looks like that folder that was shared with me. When I left the job i fully deleted my account that I used for that job and canceled my subscription. Can I just delete this folder off of my pc or will that somehow also delete file from my old workplace.

Hey @Artemis1947, thanks for using Dropbox and welcome to the Community!

 

Since you deleted the account and cancelled your subscription as well back then, this Dropbox folder is a local copy of the files you had stored in Dropbox at that point so you should be safe to delete it if you no longer need the files stored there.
