Deleted account can I delete the dropbox folder off my PC without deleting what other ppl shared

Hello,

 

I had to use Dropbox for an old ******. We had a dropbox account that is massive. They shared the folders with me and I just found a dropbox folder on my PC under the USER location that is like 800 gb large that looks like that folder that was shared with me. When I left the ****** i fully deleted my account that I used for that ****** and canceled my subscription. Can I just delete this folder off of my pc or will that somehow also delete file from my old workplace.

Since you deleted the account and cancelled your subscription as well back then, this Dropbox folder is a local copy of the files you had stored in Dropbox at that point so you should be safe to delete it if you no longer need the files stored there.
