Why, oh why is there only 2GB and then 2TB option?
I would think that 100GB would be next.
I ran out of 2GB, and now I have to increase my space to 2 TB. That is ridiculous! 2GB for free, NOTHING between that and 2TB! I guess I won't use it at all.

The 2TB used to be 100GB. It was increased to 1TB without increasing the price, and then later increased it again to 2TB. Dropbox has trialed smaller plans in the past and they weren't successful.
thanks for the response, Rich.
I will just have to cancel my Dropbox and use something else. My requirement is for no more than 10GB so 2TB for almost $200 is just ridiculous.
HI @RussellC - in that case, you could refer some friends to Dropbox to increase your Dropbox quota since each referral would give you 500 MB.
You can also up-vote this idea and this one to show your interest in this, if you like.
Can you please explain this? There's no mention anywhere that I can see regarding such an option. Certainly, if this is indeed available, I would be happy to earn the occasional 500MB by recommending Dropbox to other people.
Hi @RussellC, you can follow the steps in the article posted by @Walter to refer other users to join Dropbox. Each completed referral will grant you 500 MB of quota on your account.
Also, depending on if your account is eligible, you might be able to upgrade to the Basic Extra plan, which gives you 50 GB of quota.
