Hi, an acquaintance emailed me a file to view in Dropbox this morning, and I tried signing in from the link in the email, but it suggested I use Outlook, Google or 2 other choices to sign in. I don't like to have to sign in multiple times and it wasn't working, so I went directly to Dropbox.com, signed in, but can't find her file shared early this morning anywhere! I checked the email address it was sent from, and it matches her email in my address book, so I'm assuming it is legitimate. I would also assume any file sent from one Dropbox user to another would be visible under either the Recent or Shared tabs at left on my account home page! Can anyone tell me what I'm missing here? I've spent hour trying to simply view a file on Dropbox sent to my email from a known contact with no success or idea what the problem is! Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't have a phone# or would have called the sender directly, though I responded requesting she phone me. Until then and even so, I'd like to understand where I've run amuck with this most basic procedure! Apologies if I've accidentaly posted this more than once. I saw no confirmation I succeeded after clicking "Post". New to this, may not have filled out "Subject" or "Location" fields before Posting 1st time, and wanted to be certain it worked and I'd get help! Many Thanks in advance!
