Are you referring to the two-step verification code?

The 12 recovery words for Dropbox passwords. Someone took a screenshot of mine

Hi @HenryS90, new recovery words are generated when you use the last unused word.

While there isn't a way to manually refresh the words, you can disable two-step verification and then re-enable it, which should generate new backup codes.

Keep me updated with any progress!

I am not sure it is still implemented.
I do have 12 words list that says:

"Your Dropbox Password recovery words
If you lose access to your account, you'll need these 12 words to get in."
These apparently have nothing to do with 2-FA recovery codes which are only 10 and it says:
"You can use these one-time backup codes to access your account."

Nobody else?

They are the same thing 🙂

You use them if you cannot use the device which receives the 2FA codes
