share a link and see who viewed the file

Question

Is there a way to send an email blast containing a dropbox file link to a group of ten recipients - and then I can see when each recipient accesses and views the file.  I would like to see their email address in ACTIVITY and not the standard phrase A "GUEST" VIEWED the file.

I would really like to see just some basic information about who the "guest viewer" is in the same scenario, the same anonymous still information that can be gleaned from an ip address from where they're accessing - apx location, etc. Can do it with a simple email tracker; no reason it should be difficult here. Could at least post that in the activity column, even if people aren't viewing a shared file link from a dropbox account. Please let me know?

This wouldn't work on shared links.

It sounds like 
viewer info would do the trick for you, however in order for this to work you would need to actually invite people on the file or folder. However, you should be able to see more on the activity of the file.
