Hi, I sent a referral to a user who installed dropbox on his ipad and started using it.

However my referral status still shows "waiting for installation"

Why is that please?

Do my contact need to install dropbox on a computer and not an ipad?

The user would need to download and install the desktop app on their device in order for you to get your free referral space.

I think fewer and fewer people do nowadays

It’s a bit stupid that this does not work for iPads since people start using iPads instead of laptops. I feel cheated on this on.
