The Dropbox ARM64 offline installer ignores the /NOLAUNCH parameter

When using the /NOLAUNCH parameter with the Windows ARM offline installer, the Dropbox desktop application is still launched at the end of a silent installation.

Command used:

Dropbox 272.4.3731 Offline Installer.arm64.exe /NOLAUNCH

Expected result: The Dropbox desktop application should not launch after installation completes.

Actual result: The Dropbox desktop application launches automatically at the end of the installation despite the /NOLAUNCH parameter being specified.

Are you installing the Dropbox desktop application on multiple machines?

Could you try renaming the install file without the ARM64 section, like the installer is showing in this article and try launching it with the new file name?

If you can share any error messages, logs or OS/Dropbox specs, that'll help me narrow this down much faster.

Hi Jay,

I am testing deployments of Dropbox before sending to multiple machines. I noticed that this behavior is specific to the ARM64 version and does not occur when deploying the X64 version of Dropbox.

I tried renaming the installation file without the ARM64 section as the article shows, and the behavior persists.
