Download Notifications
Hi, I’ve noticed that for some time now, download notifications for Dropbox Transfer have been disabled by default. Previously, they were always enabled by default.

Hi @Sergio P.6, and thanks for your post. At the moment, Dropbox Transfer download notifications are turned off by default indeed. However, you can manually turn them on for each individual transfer, when creating/managing it. Did you follow the steps in the Help Center article above, and they didn’t work for you? Let me know, and we’ll go from there.
Hi, sure, they can be enabled manually, but it’s much more convenient to have them enabled by default if a user wants to receive notifications. Whenever I forget to turn them on, I have to go to the transfer management page and enable them there.
The option to enable notifications could be made more visible.

Hi again, Sergio! It looks like our team has updated this in the meantime, so you should be able to change the default option for all future Dropbox Transfers via your settings. However, I can see that you’ve tried to do so here, and it didn’t work out for you. For further updates, please keep checking this Community thread, as our team is currently looking into it.
