Sharing file results in "You've hit the limit of invites for today. Try again later."

I have not been able to use DropBox for months. I consistently get this error message whenever I try to send a file. I've used this service, without issue, for years—and now it's completely unusable.

For clarity, this happens on my first attempt to send a file. The only way this error makes sense is if my limit of 'invites' is zero—which wouldn't make this service very useful. Right now, this service isn't useful. Your help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Can you please clarify how exactly you're sending this file?

For example, are you using a web browser to share it or the Dropbox mobile app perhaps?

I've always used the Firefox browser to access the Dropbox website.

I see, thanks for clarifying that for me @lookin4HelpOnDropbox. Could you try clearing your browser's cache and/or another browser and let me know if you get the same results?

Clearing the cache did not help, sadly. Neither did logging on from MS Edge and trying there.

There was an issue that impacted some of our users as mentioned in the Dropbox Status page @lookin4HelpOnDropbox. Since this should be fixed now, could you give it another go and let me know the outcome?
