Dropbox will not allow me to copy any Dropbox links, for any file

Question

I am running the Dropbox desktop app on Mac OS. Every time I try to copy a Dropbox link, it either fails (if I use the right-click menu) or tells me I don't have permission (if I use another interface, such as the app dropdown menu). The same error occurs on the web interface. I have also tried rebooting my computer to no effect.

Thanks for your response — I will keep that in mind. In this case, the problem seems to have gone away on its own.

In order to understand what error you're seeing, could you attach a screenshot in your next reply showing the error you're seeing when attempting to share a link on the Dropbox site.

Whatever details you can provide, even if they seem small, will help us get to the bottom of this together.
