I have been using Dropbox free for years on a number of machines, and it has been rock solid. Recently, however, I implemented a new storage strategy requiring more capacity, but I thought DB was too expensive, so I went with PCloud and installed it on multiple machines, still in testing mode. Now, however, I found that DB Plus has the same deal as PCloud, so I was thinking that may be the better option, given my past experience with DB. I wanted to first make sure that DB would work on all machines, though. I have two HP ThinClient PCs, a T740, running Win 10, and a T640, running Linux Mint, along with a few others. So I attempted to install on the T740, but the install kept failing, even when I downloaded the offline installer. I even tried an older stable version of DB, and that one installed, but the sign-in page would not work. I have to say that this experience was totally unexpected.
Any thoughts? If not an easy fix, then I will have to stay with PCloud.
