I need a notification to confirm that my files have synced

Question

everyday I copy 6 files from work to home.

everyday the time it takes varies

I tried to use Applescript but, as soon as the file copy to the folder, the Mac thinks the files are there, but really, they are in copy mode. I need to know when the files are officially copied and the files all have the green icon.

I completely understand where you're coming from and why this is frustrating!

While AppleScript is a bit outside our usual area of expertise, a common fix for this type of issue is checking your Dropbox desktop app settings. Have you been able to verify that relevant notifications are enabled for your application on your Mac?

If so, then your best bet would be to manually check that the files have synced. I know this adds an extra step, but I’ve logged your feedback so our team can improve this experience.

that is what I did, just added a 1 minute pause, but sometimes its longer so you have make the pause 2 min. I wish there was a way Mac and Dropbox could communicate the real information as to how much of the file is actually copied. Thanks.
